There is some good cookery going on here. All dishes were executed spot on and service was great. I ordered the duck feature and it's blend of acid, heat and sweet made it one of the best duck dishes I have ever had. Very memorable.

This is by far the best restaurant of my trip so far. The price and value and quality of the food was outstanding. Service was great and the food and drinks were priced very fairly in comparison to the other restaurants I've been to in hilo this trip.

Another wonderful dinner at Jackie Rey's. A perfect farewell for my son and his girlfriend. Before they return to California. We had the Chicken and mushroom risotto the Grilled Pork Chop the Surf and Turf along with the warm Rosemary bread. Topped it off the Triple Chocolate Chip Brownie and Creme Brulee. Awsome food great service.

Best dinner we have had on the island. Food was excellent, service was great, drinks were smooth and refreshing. Recommend the Mai tai. The pupu platter is a must. Everything on it is on point and made us want more. Not sure how pork spring rolls were going to taste, but the nailed it, especially with the house made sweet and sour.

The atmosphere was absolutely lovely. Service was amazing. I had a pasta dish and my partner had the trio seafood platter. We also had a lilikoi cheese cake which was good. The drinks were also okay. The rosemary bread was undercooked but after day outside on the beach we ate it all.

We went to Jackie Reys for dinner on our honeymoon. We had Jessie serve us and from start to finish, everything about our meal was phenomenal. We went on a Wednesday and got half off our first bottle of Brut. We had rosemary bread and pork spring rolls. Bread was super soft and herbaceous and the herbs added to the butter made it a rare and delicious find. Spring rolls were savory, fatty, and a perfect combination with the sweet chili sauce. For entrees we got an Ahi Tuna special and a seafood trio. The seafood added with the Molokai Sweet Potatoes were phenomenal when paired with the sweet and savory plated sauces not to mention the gorgeous plating on its own was outstanding. The Ahi Tuna (rare as ordered) was perfectly seared with a perfect crust and seasoning. The sautéed veggies paired with the sweet/spicy sauces and mango salsa complimented the savory fish well. For dessert we got the Chantilly cake for two. A chocolate chiffon cake with coconut buttercream, fresh strawberries, vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Perfect way to round out the meal. Prices were reasonable as well. Ended up being about $50/person with 2 appetizers and dessert (not including alcohol). Highly recommend visiting Jackie Reys in Hilo.
